This is a great opportunity for someone moving to Glasgow and wanting to get a sense of the area. Please note: We are planning to move back to the U. S. and can only promise to be here through October. However, you will be on the lease so you can stay on after we leave and find some new flatmates. If not, they require 28 days notice to move out. It's such a great area though - you will want to stay here!!

We are in the wonderful Woodlands neighbourhood with easy access to St. George's Cross
subway, Charing Cross train station and right by main bus lines. We are so close to Kelvingrove
park, Kelvin walkway, the Canal, City Centre, lots of shops and cafes.

The flat is 2 floors and we are looking for someone to rent the top floor. The top floor includes 2
bedrooms, a small office and a bathroom. We are open to you renting just one room or both. There is laundry in the bathroom up there that we would share otherwise all the space is yours.

Downstairs we have two bedrooms and a
bathroom and then there is a large shared living room and kitchen. There is a lovely shared
patio out back with very friendly neighbours.

£400 for one bedroom or £600 for both.
Bills include:
Both rooms: £75 electricity, £114 Council Tax, £20 internet
If you rent just one room, you would pay £50 electricity, £60 Council Tax and £15 for internet.

A few things about us: We (Colyn and Hilary) are from the US and have been living here the
past two years while Colyn is nearing the end of his masters degree from Strathclyde Uni. We
enjoy living with others and meeting new people but you're welcome to be as social as you like.
We have a daughter who is 3 years old named Nell. We don't have any pets but our leasing
agent allows for one cat. (There is a cat in some of the pictures but that is our flatmate's cat and they are the ones moving out.)
also eat mainly vegan and would prefer to have someone who was veggie!

Our letting agent does not allow us to sublet so you would have to be on the lease. They would
run a reference check before being approved. A deposit is required as well.
